What to Expect

The first step with all of our facial services is to cleanse and exfoliate, which will help to prepare your skin to receive the full benefit of the enzyme peel. We do also encourage you to add on a dermaplane if you would like to receive even more exfoliating and penetrating benefits of the peel. 

After your skin has been cleansed and exfoliated, your aesthetician will then apply a peel that will be best for your skin type, skin concerns, and sensitivities. This is where the fun begins! Typically with our enzyme peels you will feel a slight heat or tingling sensation, which is just a physical signaling that the peel is doing its work. Some peels have a stronger sensation than others, so if you don’t like the heat we can find something that is best suited for your desires. This peel will sit on your skin between 3-5 minutes, eating away at your dead skin like a little PacMan. Once finished, your aesthetician will remove the enzyme with a towel, apply a masque, serums and moisturizer, and you are ready to go! 

You may notice a little redness for up to an hour after your facial, but that is just your skin oxygenating and enjoying the refreshment it just experienced. This oxygenation is what is going to fuel your gorgeous glow for weeks to come!

Like all of our facial services, however, we cannot offer this service to you if you are currently on Accutane. Because Accutane thins your skin, it is dangerous for us to use any treatment on you, especially a treatment that is exfoliating. How Do I Prepare? 

We love that all you need to do to prepare for this treatment is come in to the studio. Easy peasy, lemon squeezie! 

Yes, you can come in with a full face of makeup. 

Yes, you can come all sweaty from an intense session at the gym. 

Yes, you can come in fresh as a daisy. 

Just know that we will always prepare your skin for treatment with a cleanse and physical exfoliation beforehand. 

Our one ask of you is that if you are using any retinols or acid based serums to please discontinue use 24 hours prior to your facial appointment. These products do make your skin more sensitive to other products and services, so to ensure your total happiness with our service, we need to give your skin a little break.

The results from this treatment are immediate, girl! 

You will leave a glowing goddess, and it only gets better over the coming days and weeks. You will not only leave feeling refreshed, but you will have given your skin the chance to battle the inflammation, pigmentation, texture, or aging concerns that you have been experiencing.

These results will typically last 4-6 weeks, so while you get the immediate benefits of this treatment, we do recommend returning for another appointment about a month later to continue to target your specific skin issues. Lastly, we do always recommend working with your aesthetician to create an at-home regimen that will support this treatment.
